Table Rock Lake

Table Rock Lake - Arkansas / Missouri

Branson, Missouri has the saying “Someone you love is playing here.” When you visit nearby Table Rock Lake, the person playing is sure to be you. With all the amenities that Branson has to offer and some of the nation’s best bass fishing, Table Rock Lake is an Ozark Mountain playground waiting to be enjoyed. The lake winds through the Ozarks from Branson, Missouri to Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Constructed in the Upper White River basin in Taney County, Arkansas, Table Rock Lake is an impoundment of the White River. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers designed and built Table Rock Dam in 1958 for flood control and hydroelectric power. The Corps still manages the lake today.

There are several public marinas on the lake, and it’s possible to rent wave runners, pontoon boats, fishing boats, and ski boats. Adventurous visitors can try an adrenaline-pumping parasailing ride. If you prefer to ride than drive, schedule an excursion on a 48-foot catamaran or on the Branson Belle, a paddle wheel river boat that offers dinner cruises. Even with all the traffic, however, Table Rock Lake is known as a very safe lake.
